For LinkedIn's GSK show in Los Angeles, I was asked to Creative Direct the video deliverables for the show such as the opening video, looping video graphics, graphics packages, and the event recap team.
Palo Alto Networks - Stage Design
As a Creative Director, I wanted to show a behind the scenes look at how I showcase pre-viz designs to clients, so they can see how the show designs, screens, speaker eye-line, and audience eye-line works. Clients are able to put on a VR headset to audition how different vantage points look at any seat, or even as a speaker on stage.
Amazon: Ignite - Opening Video
Amazon asked me to Creative Direct this opening video that featured their workforce and told the story of them working together. I often am asked to concept opening videos for large corporate or consumer facing events, and the opening moment for a live show is so important and sets the tone for the audience.
Informatica: Sales Kick-Off - Opening Video
Informatica asked me to concept a video based off of real-life Superheros. The show was to be broadcast on Martin Luther King Day, so we had nods to Dr. King as well as Easter Eggs in the set design, such as a clock that was set to the time Dr. King was murdered. These projects are so meaningful to me.
Microsoft - EPG Sales Kick-Off
Microsoft EPG is one of the biggest enterprise businesses on the planet, and in this event I was Creative Director for the videos, presentations, and stage design, as well as the screen design (which I drew on a napkin while at dinner with the CEO of the design agency).
PlayStation - E3 Press Conference
For multiple years I was asked to be a post-production Creative Director for the E3 Opening Experiences. On this event, the post team worked with a projection mapping system combined with LED screens and had to layer in multiple streams of content.
LinkedIn: Sales Kick Off - Opening Video
As a Creative Director, when I concept an opening video for an event, I focus on theme and what the central message of the gathering is. Once I find the core of the message, I search for an emotional chord; whether thats a comical, cerebral, or moving emotion, it's important in my philosophy to connect to the audience with the theme of the event in an entertaining way.
Dermalogica - Connect
Being an events Creative Director means you navigate through different departments and keep the team focused on the overall goal: to give the attendee a great experience and interaction with the brand. For this event I led every detail, from design, presentation content, main stage design, videos, experiential, and key product launch moments.
